What a full detail covers
Everything in our Exterior Hand Wash and our Interior Detail, done back to back while we’re already set up at your place. You get one appointment and one price, and you save compared to booking the two separately.
On a sedan in normal shape it takes about two and a half hours. Larger SUVs, and cars that haven’t had a proper cleaning in a while, take closer to three.
Who books a full detail
- You can’t remember the last time the car was cleaned properly
- You’re selling the car or turning in a lease
- It’s been through pollen season, a long road trip or a winter of road salt
- There are kids, dogs, or both in the back seat
What it isn’t
A full detail is a deep clean, not a repair. It won’t remove scratches that go through the clear coat, and it won’t take smoke smell out for good. Light spots on seats and carpet usually come up; old stains that have soaked into the fabric need hot-water extraction, which we don’t offer yet. If your car needs something we don’t do, we’ll tell you before we start.
Price
$149 for sedans and coupes, $179 for SUVs, trucks and minivans. That’s $19 less than booking the wash and the interior separately. Add headlight restoration for $99 (it’s $129 on its own) or an engine bay cleaning for $25. If the car has heavy pet hair, sand or mud, there may be an extra $25 to $75, and we’ll agree on that before we begin. You pay when the job is done.
